On Sundays there's a general gathering in Golden gate park during the afternoons where people juggle occasionally. That night at the circus center (an easy walk from the park) is a juggling night with really talented people. $4 to get in. Wendsdays are another good juggling day. There's the Berkeley juggling get together in the Berkeley campus around 6pm. In Oakland on Wendsdays there's a great general juggling and spinning get together at the Vulcan studios not far from the Fruitvale bart station. Free and goes from 8:30pm-12? If you're in the Bay area Before September, you might want to double check on the Vulcan Spin/juggle jam as most of us will be traveling during the summer. As for busking in the bay, the most popular spot is Pier 39 in San Francisco. I don't know the actual method about getting a spot, but I think there's a sign-up sheet somewhere on the pier for a spot. Portland is another great city to hang with jugglers but I don't know too many of the people in the scene there. Enjoy your trip!
