bounce juggling question

what would be the best semi portable bounce juggling platform to use at a renaissance fair? They said they would make it for me i just need to tell them what to make it out of

    A large slab of marble and four pygmies to shlep it around for you...

    I'd think you'd be fine with a piece of 1 1/8" underlayment plywood, 30" by 24"
    (or less width if your pattern is really clean)
    with a smooth face...
    you could cover it with masonite
    or duron hardboard if you wanted a super smooth surface.

    If you want it to stay level, make a shallow box edge to keep it true.
